Emma + Denny | Bride/Groom Session

After shooting Emma and Denny’s first look, we ventured out to Waterton Lakes National Park to capture some intimate Bride and Groom photographs. Sessions like this are what I live for as a photographer – sessions jam-packed with love and emotion. I asked Emma what her favorite memory is from the session. She said, “When all of the sudden I heard his guitar playing, out of nowhere… that was cute.” She then said, ” I felt like it was surreal that I was fulfilling all of my childhood dreams. That sounds so cheesy. I’ve always wanted the drop-dead, dreamy wedding shoot, with that view in Waterton… and I’m getting married to this guy, who’s also turned out to fulfill all my dreams. That’s the cheesiest thing I’ve ever said in my whole life.”

Denny also shared his favorite memory of the session with me, “I loved shooting in the field outside of Waterton. It was so gorgeous and so surreal that it was actually happening. I loved watching her while you did her individual shots, just knowing that she was going to be mine forever. Cheese but true.”

I guess this couple both like cheese! Haha. Towards the very end of our session, I took Emma to do some bridal shots. I knew that Denny secretly brought his guitar, so I gave him the “it’s time to bust out the guitar” eyes. I love a good surprise pull off. I told the couple to meet me back at the car and left them alone to relish the moment.

I love these two and can’t wait to follow along with their journey. And HEY! I’m sure there will be a few more photo sessions with them along the way!
