Last fall I had the priveledge of taking some special photos of this sweet girl prior to her baptism. It was a beautiful evening with beautiful light and of course, this beautiful girl and her beautiful mama.
Baines Family | Waterton Family Session
Photographing the Baines family last fall in Waterton was a blast. What a stunning family. They each have so much personality and I loved spending time with them. Marisa is a Goddess and has the cutest sence of humor – I feel like we could be good pals. Also- I have some serious hair envy! Some people say that dads are tricky to deal with in photo sessions – this was not the case with Chris! He was pure awesomeness. Also, their kids have the cutest names in the history of ever! We had some incredible lighting which resulted in a few picture-perfect sun flares. One of my favorite things about…
Schaffer Family | Waterton Family Session
I. Love. This. Family. My husband and I often find ourselves talking about how much we love this family. Their kids are the sweetest! And the parents too. We want to be besties with them. From an outsider looking in, you can really tell that family is one of their very core values. I loved watching and capturing their interactions with one another. TENDER!
Emma + Denny | Bride/Groom Session
After shooting Emma and Denny’s first look, we ventured out to Waterton Lakes National Park to capture some intimate Bride and Groom photographs. Sessions like this are what I live for as a photographer – sessions jam-packed with love and emotion.
DeVuyst Family | Waterton Family Session
One of my favorite things as a photographer is coming across an image that takes my breath away.
Termeer Family | Waterton Family Session
Hurray for family sessions! I had back to back sessions on this particular day. I met my first family at one of my favorite spots in Waterton. I couldn’t believe that Matt had never been to the lookout behind the Prince of Wales hotel before!
Emma + Denning | First Look
Witnessing Emma and Denny’s first look was one of my favorite moments as a photographer and as a sister. The anticipation was tangible and the whole experience was reverent in its own way. The looks on their faces
Syndie + Aaron | Waterton Couples Session
As a photographer, it is so rewarding to pick up on the excitement that a client has when booking a photography session. I hope that my clients pick up on the excitement that I have each time an inquiry comes my way.
Daniel | Waterton Portrait Session
My husband’s bestie from med school came to visit us this summer! We had so much fun. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take some photographs for him. When Daniel arrived at our house he was a little reserved at first. AT FIRST! The next day he and my hubby, Josh, went on a day hike. When they got back to the house Daniel came over to me and put his stinky hiking foot in my face. He said, “The first couple of days, I tried to impress you. Now you get to know the Daniel that Josh knows.”
Emma + Denny | Waterton Engagement Session
I’m gushing. Please insert all of the lovey-dovey mushy stuff here. Chasing the sun around is no joke. I love all of the different types of lighting captured during this engagement session, not to mention all of the love and fun that this couple emotes. The bride-to-be, in this session, just so happens to be my incredible sister, Emma. I am so excited for her and Denny, a great friend. They both brought their A-game to this session. Denny even told me that he would do as I directed and that I could even capture some kissing photos! … There wasn’t a whole lot of directing that had to go on.…
